How it works

  1. Step 1

    Find your guide

Choose your food topic and see the guides written for it.

  2. Step 2

    Purchase and download on Etsy

Each guide is a digital download from our Etsy shop. Nothing is posted to you.

  3. Step 3

    Print and keep it handy

Every guide comes in US Letter (the US and Canada) and A4 (most other countries). Print it at home and keep it on the fridge or in the kitchen.

How we make our guides

Our guides turn published food guidance into a page you can follow in your own kitchen. Here is what goes into each one.

  • Sources named on the page

Every chart lists its sources at the foot of the page. They are public health organizations such as healthdirect Australia, the NHS, Dietitians Australia, the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association and the US National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.

  • Nutrient numbers from food databases

Figures such as fiber, fat and carbohydrate come from food composition databases (USDA FoodData Central, and Food Standards Australia New Zealand), not from blogs.

  • Checked before a guide is listed

Before a guide goes on sale, its advice is checked against current guidance from those sources.

  • General information, not medical advice

Our guides do not diagnose or treat anything, and your own doctor's or dietitian's plan comes first. Naming a source does not mean that organization has reviewed or endorsed our guides.
